Channel 4 has commissioned Thames (a Fremantle label) to produce coverage of The Sun’s Who Cares Wins awards 2021.

Hosted by Davina McCall, the star-studded, red-carpet awards ceremony will take place in London later this year and be broadcast on Channel 4 and All 4.

Channel 4 has partnered with The Sun and NHS Charities Together to televise the Who Cares Wins awards for the first time, elevating the celebration of those who have got us through one of the most difficult years in living history.

The Sun’s Who Cares Wins awards were set up in 2017 to celebrate and thank the NHS and healthcare heroes, key workers and ordinary people who care for us. To nominate your healthcare hero please go to thesun.co.uk/whocareswins

Who Cares Wins is a 1×90’ entertainment programme. It was commissioned for Channel 4 by Phil Harris, head of entertainment and Tom Beck, head of live events and commissioning editor, Entertainment. The executive producers for Thames are Amelia Brown and Charlie Irwin.

The categories being awarded are:
