The world’s most beloved talent show has today officially announced its return as it celebrates its 18th season on air.

Britain’s Got Talent will be back on screens in 2025 with judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli resuming their roles, and ready to be wowed by hundreds of aspiring talents who will be bringing their unique and mesmerising skills to the stage. Filling in for Bruno on three audition days whilst he fulfils filming commitments in the US, will be globally renowned music artist, YouTuber and boxer, KSI.

With over 2.7 billion global streams, 52 million followers across social platforms, and five million UK single sales, KSI has firmly established himself as one of the UK’s most innovative and versatile talents. As CEO of Misfits Boxing, co-owner of Prime and with two new singles “Thick of It” ft. Tripple Red & “Low” releasing on October 4th, KSI’s wide-ranging talents make him the perfect choice to spot emerging talent as he temporarily steps in for Bruno as judge.

KSI said: “I’m so excited to be a guest judge for Britain’s Got Talent. When I got the call up, I couldn’t believe it. I remember watching old BGT episodes and going from being amazed to laughing my arse off. I’m buzzing to see all the fresh new talent, and I’ll be sure to leave a mark!”

Bruno Tonioli adds: “Who better than a young, attractive, multi-talented star, known the world over, filling in for another young, attractive, multi-talented star, known the world over! In all seriousness, I can think of no one better to keep my seat warm than the wonderful KSI, even though I spend most of the show out of it anyway… I’ll be itching to get back to the judging panel for another year of laughter, tears and everything in between.”

Series 17 of the hit talent show saw singer Sydnie Christmas crowned the winner, earning herself a life-changing £250,000 and a spot on this year’s prestigious Royal Variety Performance. Britain’s Got Talent was ITV’s top entertainment programme of 2024 to date. It launched with over eight million viewers and reached more than 22 million. This year, the show has been streamed more than 20 million times, which is a +24% increase on last year. With over 46 million social media followers and more than 25 billion lifetime video views, BGT has firmly established itself as one of the biggest entertainment formats worldwide.

Britain’s Got Talent, produced by TalkbackThames (a Fremantle label), will return to ITV in 2025.
